These are leather straps for mounting the sides of the imperial guard flak armour. They are hand stitched and cut from natural leather with painted brass hardware.
 
These are intended to loop through rings on the flak armour abdominal pad. If you do not intend to use the abdominal pad then you will need to create your own method of attachment.
